In grade 9a, we talked about using imagery in our writing to paint a picture in the reader's mind.  We then used different techniques such as similes and the "magic 3" to describe what our view looks like from our bedroom window.  The purpose of this assignment was to let the students at Kingsford High School "see" where we live.  

When I look in the window I see the trees and see other houses and lot of people that are smoking.  I see the cars that cross in the road and I see the learners go to school.  

What I see outside my bedroom window.. I see crowd of people making a little noise with their feet.  They just sound like they are marching but they are rushing at work.  i see a lot of cars; mostly sports cars and bikes, also a peaceful house quiet and green grass on the field.  It is a house of God, a holy house.  That is what I see outside my bedroom window.  

I live in a flat that has three bedrooms so I don't have enough space for my ground.  The flats that I live in it is a double story.  when I am in my room there is the thing that I see every day on my window.  The thing that I see is the playground and my dogs, cars and shops.  My dogs are normal dogs.  They like to play every time they have a time to eat.  The shops that we have are super market shops.  

When I wake up in the morning I see the other house and trees and cars and people like my parents.  I see the squatter camps and proper house some of them.

When I look at the door at night I see the cats and the darkness.  I see my little brother and parents and the parking car and spaza shops.  

When I wake up in the morning i open the windows.  After that I see people outside going to work.  I also see the cars cross the road and the beautiful trees. When I close the door at night I see people cross around the house and I don't know those people.  

When I look outside my bedroom window I see my neighbour's two polo vivo and a polo classi which are cars.  I also see a park which is 10m away from my house.  It has a swing, a meri-go-round, and a slide.  My backyard has a vegetable and fruit garden which my mother owns.  My house is a 6 roomed house which has a kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom, a lounge and a dining room.  My neighbour's have a bluegum tree that I like to look at in the summer.  That is what I see outside my 

When I'm in my bedroom and when I look outside the window I see many roof houses that are painted red.  I also see the beauty of my community with many people busy walking on streets like they're selling something but they're nt selling something and busy people never get bored.  That is what I see in my bedroom window.  

When I look outside my window I see my neighbour's house which is next to our house and I also see many cars outside my house.  I also see many cars outside my house cars that are for people who are to and from work.  Sometimes there are also trucks, bakery trucks who come to deliver bread for the nearby shops.  My house has two bedrooms and 1 bathroom.  I share the room with my siblings and the other is for my parents.

We don't have much space in our yard because all our space was used to build a garage.  My house is five minutes away from the shops and the park.  I'm 1 hour away from my school which is Zimasa Community School.  I always take a taxi to and from school.  This is what I do and see outside my window.  

When I look outside my window I see my neighbours house, its across the street.  It has a very big yard and they have sports cars. Its really cool.  they also have this very cute dog Snowy.  She's white in colour and has black spots all over her body and a silver neck.  It's really cute.  

On weekend I would watch it chase every car that crosses streets and bark all day long.  My house has three bedrooms and one bathroom.  I like my privacy a lot and I have my own room.  I recently decorated it on my own.  It was very hard but worth it in the end.  I painted it with pink colour on the wall.  Then I hung my favourite celebrities' posters.  My bed is purple and even my pj's are purple.

In my backyard there isn't much, just a line where we hang wet clothing and a very small garden.  It has yellow and a few red roses.  They are very pretty.
